Notarize Your Real Estate Closing Documents With Ruth Moffatt
Inner Sunset Real Estate Notary: Located at 7th Ave and Judah St.

A packet of real estate closing documents looks a little daunting at first, but right away you notice two good things. The pile of papers is thick, but right on top, there is a page of instructions – all about what you need to do, and what your notary public needs to do.
Next you see lots of colored plastic tabs sticking out from the edge of your papers. A ton say ‘sign here’ and just a few say ‘notarize.’ So that means it’s just going to be $10.00 per notarized signature – with all those other signatures being free!
Look through your documents; then schedule your notary appointment. Any one who needs to notarize documents must personally appear at the notary appointment.
Bring your whole envelope of documents, and a valid identification card – driver’s license, state I.D. card, or passport. The name on your I.D. must include any name which appears on your documents. If not, you’ll need to bring along two witnesses who can identify you.
Once all your papers are signed and notarized, your closing packet is ready to be sent back to the lender. Congratulations on your new home purchase!
